3. The Gulf War was going on during this period of time.
4.  Western Additon of San Fransico, California (United States).
5. Ansel started photographing after a visit to Yosemite, state park. His dad bought him a camera and he began taking photographs.
6. Ansel was known for his inspiring black and white landscape photos that have been put in many calendars, posters, and books.
7. Ansel primarily used large-format cameras because their high resolution helped ensure sharpness in his images.
8. I enjoy how Ansel's photoos are black and white, but the pictures are so clear and the fact that they're all about nature makes me like them even more. 
9. I learned that Ansel actually wanted to play piano as a profession, he had played piano his whole life.

I chose this quote and photo because I don't like how a lot of people judge other based off what they've done rather then what they've become. I chose the brick back ground because the quote is sort of harsh and I figured a hard brick background would match this quote perfectly.
